Project Description

Mineral Canyon

The Mineral Canyon airstrip, originally named the Mineral Bottom Airstrip, was created in Utah's canyonlands around the 1950's uranium boom by the Excalibur Mining Company.  The airstrip is located on the Green River, just south of the bowknot bend, a few miles upstream of Canyonlands National Park.
