Deadhorse Point State Park is 5 miles south along the paved highway, perfect for biking or hiking. It's a 500-ft elevation descent to the State Park.
It is a 7-mile (each way) hike/bike on mostly dirt roads to view Mineral Canyon Arch.
Numerous hike/bike trails in the vicinity of the airstrip to spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Colorado River and red rock canyons.
