I landed there today after doing a low pass and a drag pass trying to determine condition, After landing I realized it was still a bit wet. I didn't sink but salt was caked on my tires and a line of salt flipped off the tires and onto the wings and tail. I walked around a bit and I ended up with salt caked on the soles of my shoes. I enjoyed my stop, wiped salt off the plane, flew home and spent hours deep cleaning the salt off the plane. There was an ATV cruising around the salt flats but I think it's a bit too early in the season for anyone to be out there. I recommend waiting a few weeks for it to dry out a bit.
