Weather Stations

The UBCP has worked together with our friends atthe University of Utah to identify airstrips that could benefit from the installation of a weather station. Currently the proposal includes the 13 airstrips involved listed above in addition to any additional airstrip on the Navajo Nation in the southeast corner of the state. The proposal is being vetted by State Aeronautics and will be sent to the State for review and hopeful inclusion into the 2024 budget.
