Description: Angel Point is a widened county road that's hilly surface prevents you from being able to see one end from the other. Angel Point is one of the three back country airstrips included in the State's "FLY UTAH Passport Program". To learn more, head to their website. Rudimentary parking area at south end of north/south runway.

Runway: 3500 ft long x 30 ft wide hard dirt runway with rolling hills along the length of the landing surface.

Additional Runway: 1800 ft long x 30 ft wide running 03/21. Crosswind runway suitable for high performance STOL aircraft only.

Approach Considerations: Due to its nature, recommend pilots be cautious of vehicle traffic. Typically land to the north, depart to the south. Strongly suggest that on arrival an inspection of the landing surface plus a view for any vehicle traffic approaching from the east as sloped runway can hide distant traffic travelling on landing surface.

Disabled aircraft off the end of Runway 02. Checked inside and looks like crew must have been picked up by vehicle recently. Landed Rwy 20. Small ruts about 2/3 down runway, but mostly smooth and firm. Use cation for road traffic coming from the west (Angel Point Trailhead). We did not see any dust from a truck due to some gusty winds and luckily avoided a truck that was headed east about 2,000' distant when we departed Runway 28. Could have been a close call.

I landed to the south and on the east side of the runway where it slopes up there was a small gully from the recent rains. I was able to stay to the right/west side with no issues. Windsock looked ok but was flopped back on itself. It looked like the next strong wind will probably fix it.

Two large water holes. One on each towards each end of the landing strip. Reduced usable surface by approximately 40%

Obviously you have to pick your touchdown point due to the multiple hills on the runway. I landed beyond the first high point on RWY 28 and would have been at full stop long before the high point near the windsock. Runway was super firm and smooth.
