Brent Willsey visited Hubbard 2 months ago in a Legend cub with 31 tires

New windsock, landed south uphill was no problem, flew in to stay at gateway canyon resort. There are no tie downs. Brought my screw in set, find a spot with vegetation so they don’t pull out.

Cory Wolf visited Fremont Island Upper 2 months ago in a C205 with 850 tires

Bugs are starting to come out! Probably my last trip out until this Fall. Looks like people are still landing on the west face of the ridge as well as on the shore down NW of the lower strip. Get the word out to knock that off.

Scott Aldrich visited Spiral Jetty 2 months ago in a PA-18 with 35 tires

Finally able to land here. No cows around today. The runway is covered with cow pies. From the east end to near the middle is covered with old straw cow feed (and poo). The cow pies are no longer wet but not rock hard yet. Big tires just squash them. I kicked a lot of the bigger, dried piles, off the runway. The straw-covered area is not too bad, just a little lumpy. With a rake, it could be cleared pretty quickly. I found the windsock in the sage some distance from the pole. The windsock is not torn up, just faded. It could go back up. I tied it to the base of the pole so it won't blow away. However, if the cow that unbolted the pole base comes back, I suspect it will be gone again. The hinge on the base of the pole is nearly broken off - but it would be fine if we just took a drill and added a second (and third?)
