Randy Owen visited Wee Hope Mine / Radium King 6 days ago in a Zenith CH701 with 21” tires

Airstrip is in great condition. A little powdery and soft at the upper end, but still quite usable. It’s in a really beautiful area.

Ben Benavidze visited Scofield 1 week ago

This Land has been sold to a real estate development company that is subdividing it and building a community. No longer a viable possible landing spot. Owned now by Scofield Estates LC, they subdivide all their lands into 1acre or less lots and develop them.

Chris Morgan visited Horseshoe Canyon 3 weeks ago in a Maule M5 with 26" ABW tires

No real change from the last report 9 months ago. Winds were calm, runway is narrow, but clear. A bit soft, but no issue. A very peaceful, remote location.

Chuck Knuth visited Bonneville Salt Falts 3 weeks ago in a C180 with 6x8.50 tires

Very low pass (did not touch down) of the Speedway during a cross-country flight. Some vehicles camped far out on the lakebed but clear of the drag strip. Surface very smooth and apparently hard. Vehicles were not leaving tracks or making dust. Calm conditions - optimal while the weather holds.

Chris Morgan visited Mexican Mountain 3 weeks ago in a Maule M5 with 26" ABW tires

This was my first time landing at this gorgeous location. Thanks to all the volunteers who put in so much hard work repairing the airstrip and making it as nice and smooth as it is today. I landed with a friend visiting from the UK, and he was blown away by the majesty of the location and the fact we have airstrips like this one in the middle of the wilderness. We are truly blessed. Thank you UBCP!

Jeff Nostrom visited Hidden Splendor 3 weeks ago in a C185 with 8.5 tires

Slightly soft and a light skiff snow off the edges the runway its self was mostly dry and as I walked the entire length only a few soft spots. Great as always.

Jeff Nostrom visited Happy Canyon 3 weeks ago in a C185 with 8.5 tires

Runway was softer than usual. The whole area must have seen some precip within the last few days. Great visit. Runway is good but starting to need some attention in some small areas.

Jeff Nostrom visited Nokai Dome 3 weeks ago in a C185 with 8.5 tires

Just over flew snow from the previous storm has left remnants. Flew over later in the day most of the snow was gone but really wet. The over all the landing surface once dry looks to be in great shape.
