Karen Larson visited Red Reef / Punk Point 7 months ago in a Carbon Cub FX2 with 31” tires

Biggest hazard here is the camber. Slopes from the cliff edge on the west towards the east…easily seen in the photo. Surface is a bit rolly…it bounces the tail around a bit. It was a calm day everywhere else, and yet a good 90° crosswind from west to east. You’re treated to a great 360° view!

The recent rain didn’t change the surface of the airstrip! Everything is dry and in great condition!

10/10/25 Goulding’s Lodge has responded to Utah pilot associations, and has lowered their fees: there is now a landing fee of $30 and a separate day or overnight fee structure, which may be waived if you are staying at Goulding's Lodge. The day fee is $80 (including landing) and the overnight fee is $130 (including landing). For guests staying two or more nights at the lodge, the landing fee is waived

First landing here after the airstrip rehab. The south half of the runway is pretty bumpy, but as you get between the trees it dramatically smooths out. I'll be back!

Eric Klein visited Imlay 7 months ago in a C182P with 850 mains, 800 nose tires

I landed to check out the strip. Everything is as described by others recently. The new windsock is a big help. It’s located about midfield, just on the west side of the runway. The runway was in perfect shape with no ruts or damage, safely landable by just about anything.

John Belz visited Selenite / Factory Butte Coal Mine 7 months ago in a Cessna 185 with 29" tires

Landed to the west. A gully cuts through the approach end of the runway: Don't land short! The runway is quite soft and the "parking" area even softer. Perhaps not for small tires.
