Ben Crowder visited Red Canyon Meadow 3 months ago in a FX3 CarbonCub with 31" tires

Same as last report. Several patches of cacti that need to be removed (on my to-do list). On the shorter side of usable, approximately 450-500'.

Ben Crowder visited Big Flat 3 months ago in a FX3 CarbonCub with 31" tires

Landed on the first 1/3rd on the west end landing east. Fairly straight forward for big tires. Lumpy grass and sage brush.

Strip is quite large and smooth. Nothing to note here as it is fairly straight forward.

Ben Crowder visited Poison Spring 3 months ago in a FX3 CarbonCub with 31" tires

Nothing new here. It is a rodeo/roller coaster ride every time... fun times! Be prepared to be launched in the air a few feet from the first roller.

Ben Crowder visited Big Thompson Mesa 3 months ago in a FX3 CarbonCub with 31" tires

The road is fairly smooth and not rutted out / too deep. Agree with the last report, you can land on the west side of the road just watch out of larger sage brush.

Jay Rich visited Spiral Jetty 3 months ago in a Cessna 150 with 5.00 tires

Visited today, no cows in sight but plenty of cow pies on the runway. The pies are soft but not so soft as to splash up on your plane. The rancher has been feeding his herd on the runway and it is not well defined at this time. The windsock is damaged and on the ground probable caused by cows rubbing up against it but it could be otherwise, just saying..............................Jay

Ha... yes, it is pretty obvious with them feeding the cows on the runway 'they' want us to go away - and it looks like those cows figured out how to remove the bolts from one side of the windsock hinge..... :)

Crazy! Anyway to find out who has the cattle lease for this land? They should be the ones responible?
